A classic design from the late 60' s: From the slender stem grows a tulip-shaped goblet. The shape of the glass set fuga was awarded with the first federal award good form . It is an ideal glass for wine lovers. Ergonomically perfect, the stem lies well balanced in the hand. The structure is perfectly balanced. The goblet has the right size, allowing the flavor to develop, when it is one third filled, as the liquid evaporates and rises on the glass wall to the top. The very delicate glass allows for the wine to transfer its temperature to the lips, which is relevant to the taste. A lot of wine connoisseurs agree it' s a perfect glass.
Designer : Elsa fischer-treyden
Elsa fischer-treyden was an artist and designer (she studied industrial design with wagenfeld). Her work is clear and matter-of-fact and does justice to the art of production. Her design fulfills the demand for a fruitful collaboration of art, industry, craftsmanship and commerce. Fischer-treyden worked for Rosenthal from 1952 until her death.
