For the 50 anniversary, Rosenthal introduces a 2011 limited edition: We chose 50 vases from well-known artists and designers, which reflect the diversity and innovation of the studio-line. This collection begins in the year 1961 with a vase by tapio wirkkala and ends in 2011 with a new draft by christophe de la fontaine. These objects are timeless classics, which are still part of the studio-line collection today. A few pieces are part of the Rosenthal archive and will be newly launched for the anniversary.

Designer : Dror benshetrit
Dror benshetrit is the initiator and proprietor of studio dror , a product and interior design studio and creative consultancy in new york. He studied art and design at the design academy in eindhoven and the center for art education at tel aviv museum of art. This multicultural training enabled him to develop his own unique style of design that can be seen in every project conceived by studio dror . To understand dror benshetrit' s work, one needs to grasp the logic and thought processes that underlie his style. His focus is always on innovation.
